Refurbish & Modernise


Short Street

This old two bedroom cottage was totally refurbished and modernised by not only sand blasting the original external stone walls but by building a double storey rear extension to provide an additional bedroom and a larger ground floor kitchen / dining space.  

For this project we also obtained permission to have off road vehicle parking.

Now, it comprises three bedrooms, two reception rooms, a breakfast kitchen, upstairs bathroom, driveway, garden, double glazing and gas central heating.

Entrance Hallway 
Entrance via PVCu double glazed door, stairs to the first floor and opening to the dining room.

Living Room 
12' x 11'9 plus recess - Having a multi fuel stove with stone surround and hearth, radiator, built in storage cupboard housing gas and electric meter, exposed wooden beam and double glazed window to the side.

Dining Room 
11'7 x 11'8 - With a feature fireplace with stone surround, radiator, double glazed window to the side, under stairs storage cupboard, exposed wooden beam, and opening to the kitchen.

Kitchen/breakfast Room 
12'9 x 12'4 - A spacious kitchen with a fitted range of matching eye and base units with roll top surface, fitted electric oven with four ring gas hob, fitted hood extractor fan, fitted stainless steel sink and drainer with mixer taps and one and a half bowl sink, integrated fridge, freezer, washing machine and wine fridge, radiator, spot lights, part tiled walls, double glazed window to the rear and double glazed french doors to the side.
