The site formed part of the rear garden of a neighbouring property in Alfreton, subdivided to create a new building plot.
ABDS were engaged to prepare outline planning permission and design an investment property: a semi-detached, three-bedroom dwelling arranged over three storeys, using the roof space for one double bedroom.
The design was kept in keeping with the surrounding area, with two off-road parking spaces in front of the property and deep rear gardens behind. Elevationally, the roof is tiled with facing brickwork and uPVC windows and doors.
New build house design across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire covers everything from a first plot survey through to full building regulation drawings: working out what a site's levels, drainage and boundaries will actually take, then designing a dwelling that fits it.
