Sleetmoor House, Swanwick

Project

.

Sleetmoor House originally was a four bedroom detached dwelling set on the base of an old windmill.

Overtime, the property became run down and in need of great repair.

In 2004, the property was sold and the new owners decided to engage Architectural Building Design Services to help design a new replacement dwelling of superior quality and standing.

The property sat on an area of land exceeding 2 Acres, containing a private wooded area and breathtaking views of Fritchley, Crich,  Wessington and South Wingfield.

The new dwelling consisted of two main storeys in height with a mezzanine gym area to the master bedroom.

The external appearance of the building was very architecturally contemporary in style with many modern construction finishes including balconies with glass panels and stainless steel balusters, two storey glazed screens, sun lounges and external patio areas.
Internally the building offers a great feeling of open space with large over sized rooms including en-suite bedrooms and family bathroom.
